Hadley Toweel is the Creative Director of Zebra Creative Concepts, Imaging & Design. He is an international award-winning photographer who in 2004 received one of 37 gold awards, out of over 1700 entries, in the Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA). He is also the owner of Classique Image Studio situated on the Redcliffe Peninsula Waterfront near Brisbane .

In 2004 he completed his Master of Journalism Degree (with distinction) from the University of Wollongong . His final project was in Magazine Print Production and Publication. He is currently enrolled in his PhD in Journalism. F or many years he was a regular features writer for Africa 's largest imaging magazine, Camera & Image, and was also chief celebrity photographer for Style magazine for five years.

Hadley’s photographs, including those of President Nelson Mandela, have been published in the New York Times. They have also appeared on the covers of Shell World (UK), Dialogue (USA) and Today magazine (RSA). The cover of The Star Society pages also regularly featured his photographs. Hadley took all the images for the music CD Dentro Me, by Italian Gospel singer Sara. He has also had a number of articles and photographs published in the Redcliffe Herald.

Prior to migrating to Australia in 2001, he was the official photographer at many major South African events including the opening of the first Hugo Boss store in Africa; the launch of Virgin Cola; the opening of Graceland Casino as well as the Emerald Casino; the Versace Fashion Show; Mercedes Benz Horse Jumping Championships; Austrian Imperial Ball; Dunhill Derby; Dunhill Symphony of Fire; International New Model Today and the Samsudin Charity Ball at Gallagher Estate.  He also photographed the opening of the Stars Studio nightclub at the Sheraton Hotel, as well as the opening of Faces Bar at the Hilton Hotel.

During his 15-year profession, Hadley has photographed many celebrities, including President Bill Clinton, President Nelson Mandela, HRH Prince Edward, Sir Richard Branson, Lord Jeffrey Archer, Archbishop Desmond Tutu (only studio photograph of him in existence) and Miss Universe Michelle McLean.  He has also photographed Hollywood stars John Savage and Jack Scalia as well as Casper van Dien, Bentley Mitchum (son of Robert) and Jennifer McShane.

Hadley’s regular corporate clients have included Andersen Consulting, Deloitte & Touche, Deutsche Bank, Landrover SA, Midrand University, Milpark Business School, Crawford College, Tarsus Technologies, Scottish Trade International, Werksman's Attorneys, Vodaworld, as well as the American, British, French, Lebanese, and Yemen Embassies.

Hadley is a full member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, a Licentiate of the Professional Photographers of Southern Africa and a Charter Member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (USA).  As an independent journalist he is a member of the Australian Journalists Association and the Australian Photojournalists Association. He is married with five children and three grandchildren.
